Are you curious or a little bit confused about what “Culture Change” is? Katrina Wise, Vice President of Senior Services, Liberty Lutheran, explains:
“Culture Change transforms the traditional hospital model of nursing homes into one that nurtures the residents’ individual preferences and needs, from sleeping and bathing schedules to activities and meals. For example, if a resident wants to sleep in late, wear her slippers all day, and have coffee in her room before going to breakfast, we support that. Here at Liberty Lutheran, we are so committed to our residents. We want to serve them and their families in the best way that we possibly can. This is why we are making Culture Change a reality, because we really, truly care about our residents.
Culture Change is one of the many things that we are doing to stay current with the best practices in senior healthcare and continue our tradition of being leaders in compassionate care. We are making culture change happen, while still following the ever-changing regulations that are placed on nursing homes.
As always, customer service is one of our standards. We strive to meet and exceed the expectations of all of our residents and families. Culture Change is changing the standard of senior living, and I invite your questions and comments. Please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.”
