A message from Janet Lorenzon, Associate Executive Director, Artman Lutheran Home:
I’d like to tell you about some of the plans we are making to support our work of transforming senior services through culture change.
The lower level of the nursing unit, which was previously a Kencrest site, and currently houses many offices, will be renovated into a state-of-the-art rehab facility, featuring private rooms, a common area, wifi and a spa.
Architectural plans for the current nursing unit include two households to
accommodate 20 residents each. Each household will have its own kitchen, living room, dining room, and private outdoor space. Food will be available any time, and will be made to order.
In Personal Care, the Aspen and Dogwood wings will also be converted into similar households of about 20 residents. One household will be designed specifically for residents who need memory support.
These changes will help us to continue to serve our residents with quality,
compassionate care. If you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org or at
215-643-6335 ext. 139.
