Paul’s Run Retirement Community was once again rated a five-star community by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS uses a Five-Star Quality Rating System that is based on the overall quality of the community, health inspections, staffing and quality measures. It looks at areas such the care of the residents, how staff and residents interact, the environment and safety.
“It means that we exceed the standards,” said Mary Beth Linde, Director of Health Services at Paul’s Run, “It’s like report card that customers and families will see, and we have a great staff that gets us to that five-star rating every day.”
Paul’s Run exceeded the national average on 14 out of 17 benchmarks. “This does not happen by accident. It is the concerted effort of every department and a commitment from every employee to be the best,” Mary Beth said. “I am proud to be part of such a powerful team of staff who go the extra mile to provide the highest quality care to our residents.”
