My name is Nashae Warren, I am 21 years of age and I attend the Logan/Olney E3 center.
Although there are many things I am truly thankful for, there are only two things I am extremely thankful for. First thing I am thankful for is the birth of my little sister. God couldn’t have given me anything in this world better than her. Ever since the day she came into my life it has completely changed the way I look at things. I made a decision to change my ways in order to be a good role model for her so that she can understand what life is all about, and I can prepare her for the real world.
The second thing I am thankful for is the help from the Logan/Olney E3 Center. Although I’m still pursuing my G.E.D the help they have blessed me with so far has made a big impact on my life today. Without the help of E3 I don’t know where I would be. Since I’ve been attending the G.E.D program I have accomplished so much, I have also learned a lot of things I didn’t know in my past. I’m just so blessed and thankful for everything the staff at E3 has done for me.
My name is Clarese Shaw I am the Job Readiness Teacher at E3 Logan. I am thankful to be blessed with two beautiful children who are focused on their education with goals to attend post secondary schools. I am thankful that I was able to provide them with the support and stability needed to make progress in school and value their education. I have been in the social work field for many years and know the young adults served at E3 often did not have support and guidance in place in order for them to be successful in a traditional school setting. Knowing this has made me more supportive of not only my children but to the students at E3 and for that I am thankful.
