Thanksgiving conjures up images of packed grocery stores and delicious holiday feasts. Although the Thanksgiving dinner is an important part of the celebration, Thanksgiving is about much more than the turkey and the stuffing. It is a time of year to reflect and remember everything that you are thankful for, and fortunate enough to have.
We visited the Liberty Lutheran Senior Communities of Paul’s Run and Artman to ask residents what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving season. Students enrolled in our Lutheran Children and Family Service BOOST program, which provides children grades K-12 with homework assistance, recreation, arts and crafts, field trips, computer labs, and college preparation, also told us they have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
