“You can live forever in that place, it is so good,” says Bob Cinalli, whose mother has lived at Artman for 4 years. These words of affirmation are exactly what we want to hear from someone with a relative living in our community. Our goal at Artman, Liberty’s senior living community in Ambler, is that every family member feels uplifted when they visit and comfortable when they leave.
I want to share Bob’s perspective, a family member who chose Artman to be his mother’s home.
Home is a place we want to be. Home is familiar and safe. Home is filled with people that we care about and people that care about us. Home is what Bob was searching for when he began looking for options for his mother, Clara.
Clara was 96 years young and her care needs were increasing due to her health issues when Bob was introduced to an Artman staff member over 4 years ago. He came for a visit in 2010 and was impressed by how the staff has worked to create the comforts and pleasures of home for the residents.
“The staff is incredible, so caring and wonderful to our family and the other residents.” That is what sets Artman apart from other communities.
Clara was born in the Bronx and moved to Philadelphia as a young child. She was a seamstress most of her life. She has a lovely family with two sons, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Clara lights up when they come to the holiday parties, summer outings and community life activities to spend time with her.
Clara is just one of the many residents who call Artman “home.” She celebrated her 100th birthday with a party including her extended family and her Artman friends. We are looking forward to celebrating her 102nd in January!
Bob Cinalli feels that Artman is always evolving and improving and says, “The employees want to be there and they keep me well informed of my mom’s care. Artman is a life saver.”
When you give to Artman, you support our ongoing efforts to provide loving and compassionate care to our residents. Our commitment to Benevolent Care ensures that we offer this high-quality care to those Artman residents who have outlived their assets.
Your generosity will help to support our mission as we continue to create the comforts and pleasures of home.
